WINEMAKING NOTES

This wine was made from grapes grown on the stony, sandy terrace of the vineyard.
The grapes were cold soaked for around 5 days then fermented. The resulting wine was then aged for around 10 months in French oak barrels, 22 % new and 33% one year old.

TASTING NOTES

Showing classical varietal leafy notes with red currants on the nose this Cabernet Franc has an added depth and dimension to its aroma, including a hint of toasty oak. Savoury, well-rounded fresh and structured on the palate with a very long finish. This extremely versatile wine will give great pleasure from the outset and will continue to deliver for many years.
