WINEMAKING NOTES

The fruit for this wine was grown on the lower terraces of Askerne Vineyard and Petane Station in Esk Valley. The wine was fermented in tank. The fruit was harvested from 29th March to the 9th April.

TASTING NOTES

A full bodied and richly textured Pinot Gris with pure aromas of pear and quince. Additional notes of short bread and custard add to the profile and interest. The palate carries some fruit sweetness and soft acidity which combined gives the effect of roundness and generosity. Best matched with full flavoured savoury dishes.
