The fruit for this Syrah was grown on the stony soils of the Gimblet Gravels in Hastings. The fruit was harvested on the 13 April 2013. It was aged for 15 months in French oak barriques (15% new).

Aromatic and floral with hints of blueberry and white pepper. The palate is medium weight with a bright and crunchy texture with suggestions of cranberry and almond croissant. The finish is rich and smooth. Match with grilled meats especially when a spicy marinade is used.
