WINEMAKING NOTES
The fruit for this wine was grown on the lower terraces of Askerne Vineyard. The fruit was hand harvested on 4 April 2011. 100% of the fruit was barrel fermented (25% new oak, 25% 1 year old and 50% 2 years old).

TASTING NOTES
Stonefruit aromas dominate with hints of pear and tangelo on a backdrop of smoky oak. The palate is firm with peach, rock melon and mineral notes. Well balanced and elegant. Some cellaring may benefit this wine. Drink 2012 to 2015. Serve with poultry dishes, salad and seafood.
