2010 ROSE
WINEMAKING NOTES
This Rosé from Askerne Vineyard is made from Merlot 43 %, Syrah 29 % and Cabernet Franc 28 % grapes. The fruit was hand harvested and after being given some skin contact, the juice was bled off (saignee) and then fermented in stainless steel tanks.

TASTING NOTES
Lively strawberry and raspberry characters on the nose follow through into the palate which is fresh and lively with sweet berry fruit and candy flavours. A hint of sweetness makes this a great summer drinking wine with salads, quiche and light poultry dishes. Serve slightly chilled
