2010 PINOT GRIS

WINEMAKING NOTES

The fruit for this wine was grown on the lower terraces of Askerne Vineyard. The fruit was hand harvested on 20 April 2010 at 23.5 brix sugar level 70 % of the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks with 30 % fermented in old oak. It was fermented through to off dry.

TASTING NOTES

Ripe aromas of pear, quince and Turkish delight with underlying floral notes on the nose follow through into the palate to produce this delicious, full flavoured wine. Serve with light asian dishes, fish, chicken or quiche.
