2010 MERLOT CABERNET MALBEC

WINEMAKING NOTES

This wine was made from grapes grown on both the stony and sandy lower terrace of the vineyard and the heavier upper terrace. The varietal mix was 50% Merlot, 33% Cabernet, 9% Malbec and 8% Petit Verdot. The fruit was hand harvested between 12th and 20th May 2010 and sorted. It was destemmed and crushed, then macerated and fermented in tanks. The wine was aged for 10 months in French oak barriques.
