2010 MERLOT CABERNET MALBEC
WINEMAKING NOTES
This wine was made from grapes grown on both the stony and sandy lower terrace of the vineyard and the heavier upper terrace. The varietal mix was 50% Merlot, 33% Cabernet, 9% Malbec and 8% Petit Verdot. The fruit was hand harvested between 12th and 20th May 2010 and sorted. It was destemmed and crushed, then macerated and fermented in tanks. The wine was aged for 10 months in French oak barriques.

TASTING NOTES
Traditional winemaking techniques have produced this wine which exhibits fragrant plum, blackberry and cassis aromas with spicy overtones and hints of tamarillo and oak. Plum, red berry, spice and truffle characters show on the palate. This is a firm red wine with excellent structure that will age gracefully for up to six years.
