The fruit for this wine was grown on the upper terrace at Askerne Vineyard. The grapes were hand harvested between 6th April and 23rd April 2009. 33% of the wine was fermented and aged on its lees for 9 months in French oak barriques. 40% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation. The balance of the wine was fermented in tank.

Ripe citrus characters on the nose follow through into the palate to produce this full flavoured, richly textured Semillon which will develop honey characters as it ages. An excellent accompaniment for seafood and white meats.
