The fruit for this wine was predominantly grown on the upper terrace of Askerne Vineyard. The seven clones of Gewurztraminer were hand harvested. Part of the pick was crushed and destemmed and given skin contact. 85 % of the juice was tank fermented and 15% was fermented and aged in old French oak barriques for 3 months.

Concentrated aromas of ginger and spice, complemented by classic lychee and sweet yeasty notes combine with rich tangelo and peach flavours on the palate. The palate has a smooth, velvety texture and a long, full flavoured finish. An excellent match for Asian foods.
