The fruit for this wine was grown on the upper terrace of Askerne Vineyard.
The vines were harvested between 8 and 30 May 2008 with bunches selected for a heavy botrytis infection. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 20 months (25% new, 25% one year old).

Complex dried apricot, caramel and citrus characters on the nose follow through into the dense, honeyed palate to produce this luscious wine. Enjoy on its own or with strong cheeses.
