Excellent bouquet filled with scents of ripe yellow and white stone fruits, citrus and layers of barrel spices and some wood smoke. Lots of purity and freshness. Dry, weighty, taut and satin-smooth as the wine touches the palate. Flavours of citrus then apple, peach then baking spices, smoky wood tones and crumbled earth and stone suggestions. There’s a fine flinty layer adding complexity as well as intrigue. Lengthy and quite delicious with best drinking from 2026 through 2030+.

A rustic and classic bouquet sending scents of Italy and old school aromas of wine and earthy soil ideas. Dark berries and plums, old leaves and violets, terracotta pots and clay. Dry, taut, fruity and delicious, a wine that speaks of variety first then place, memories of old world style red wines that tease the palate with firmer tannins yet soften with a core of red berry fruits that make for a great drinking expression. Well made with flavours of blackberries and plums, a dried leaves and petals, low oak intervention, well made and ready to drink.

Fruity, varietal and very youthful with a peppercorn and olive bouquet, then red fruits from black currant to plum. Dry, taut and youthful on the palate with fine tannins and plenty of acidity to frame the core flavours of red berry fruits, kalamata olive, herb and peppercorn. A wine that is tasty, food oriented, youthful and still developing. Best drinking alongside food from day of purchase through 2029.

A lovely wine, ripe and varietal, a core of black berry fruits and herbs, there’s a touch of black olive and boot polish then clove and vanilla spices from barrel. Youthful and complex. A dry wine on the palate with flavours that mirror the bouquet, plenty of tannins with a range of textures from fluffy to dusty, firm and polished. The acid line and tannins frame the core fruits flavours nicely with an overall velvet mouthfeel and medium+ length. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2032.

Aromas of iron and black currant, dark plum and sweet tobacco. The ix of pencil shavings and wood smoke remind be of a young Bordeaux style. A black olive and dried herb quality add complexity to a youthful expression. Fuller-bodied, firm, youthful and dry on the palate with core flavours of dark berries and plum reflecting the bouquet along with iron and pencil, tobacco and old rose. Plenty of tannins and acidity, a well made wine with length and impact. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2033.

Aromas of tobacco and blackberry, black currant and Doris plums, violet and pressed roses, pencil lead and gravelly soils. A complex and enticing bouquet. On the palate a dry wine with complexity and texture. Tannins are long chain with polish, acidity carries dark fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet along with tobacco and iron, pencil lead, violet and dried rose petals. A  wine of finesse, charm and early drinking. Best from 2027 through 2033+.
