This decision was not made lightly but if we chose to accept unvaccinated customers that would have implications for the enjoyment and potentially the safety of our staff and vaccinated customers. Thus to look after our wine friends old and new, we have decided that we can only accept vaccinated customers to our cellar door, including our gourmet picnics.

We respect the rights of people to make individual choices that reflect their own beliefs. However, we also have to make hard choices within the prevailing legal framework. We apologise to people who have made personal choices not to take the vaccine, or who have people in their travelling parties who have made that choice. We are offering a click and collect service to those parties and also purchases from our website. We recognize that, in many ways, these are much less attractive offers than our personal service, but that is the best that we are able to do within the current laws.

To those vaccinated people who choose to visit Askerne we will be doing our best to make the rules as unintrusive as possible and to offer you great wines with great service

We will only be accepting the vaccine QR code, please come prepared and have yours ready and be patient with our staff as we transition into this new way of working.
