Prepare for a juggernaut of jungle juice tropicality, electrifying acidity, spunky citrus and a dollop of delicious, biscuity oak and smoke on the finish. It’s a sexy chardonnay indeed and clearly the team at Askerne had a very good handle on its potential as soon as the grapes were harvested because it smells and tastes of something very carefully crafted, but something that was also a heck of a lot of fun to make. Don’t ask me how it does that, it’s just an impression I got as soon as I poured my first glass. Glossy, golden and an absolute giant of a wine. I LOVE it!
