Honey, spices, baked apple tart, clove and brown sugar. Very sweet, very fruity, loaded with flavours of honey and apricot, baked apple tart and clove. Full-bodied and rich and creamy texture. Long finish, delicious! Drink now.

Askerne Hawke’s Bay 2018 Viognier 88/100

Floral, fruity, minerally and varietal. Aromas and flavours of baked stone fruits, flowers and white pepper spice. Weighty, flavourful and fruity on the palate with apricot and peach then spice. Medium acidity, creamy texture and decent finish. Nice wine ready to drink now and through 2021.
